This is a lovely clean and spacious Cottage set amongst the rolling hills of Dumfries and Galloway. Its location is set in farmland in a quiet environment with cows... read more and horses in fields nearby. There is a lovely space by the side of the Cottage where one can eat on the picnic bench and use the swing seat on a sunny day.
The village of Thornhill is nearby and we liked the shop called Thomas Tosh with gifts, jewellery, books and beautiful stationery.
Also the Chinese restaurant called The Jade Garden for takeaways was lovely food and saved us cooking.
