Refurbished to a high standard, Croftjane Cottage provides peaceful accommodation for people looking for a relaxing break in idyllic surroundings, or for those who want to take advantage of the many opportunities for outdoor recreation. The cottage sits in a quiet location with wonderful views overlooking beautiful Nithsdale, with the Lake District fells in the background.

Free Wi-Fi is available in Croftjane Cottage. Although this is reasonably reliable, given our location, it’s perhaps not as speedy as you may be used to.
As well as the farm animals, we have three dogs and a cat at Croftjane, hence our decision not to accept visitors’ dogs. Our pets are not allowed in the cottage, but please be warned if you have any severe allergies.
Smoking is strictly forbidden.

A wonderful cosy cottage with fabulous views over open countryside. Cottage was spotlessly clean, lounge was comfortable and cosy, especially with the brilliant wood burner on! Location was very quiet... read more and peaceful and we all slept like logs in the comfy beds. A short power cut during the stormy Sunday evening didn't take anything away from our weekend at CroftJane - in fact it was even cosier with the wood burner on and all the candles that Claire promptly provided. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at CroftJane and will certainly return at some point.

Despite being under continued Covid guidelines, Claire was an excellent ... read more host. Any questions were comprehensively answered and in quick order. Importantly, especially as we had driven through terrible weather, floods, cold and very wet while travelling. Upon arrival, inside the Cottage it was toasty warm and the Wood Burner was amazing.
