      Lovely rural cottage with amazing views. Lots of space for a family of four. Comfy cosy sitting room was great at the end of a busy day exploring. Kitchen was... read more plenty big enough with all the kit you need. And 2 showers helped with the morning rush.
    Recommend Thomas Tosh in Thornhill for delicious afternoon tea.

      We had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage and surroundings were comfortable, peaceful and clean. We especially enjoyed seeing the Red Kites outside gliding across the sky.

      Croftjane turned out to be a very spacious, comfortable, warm and well maintained cottage that is extremely well equipped and exceptionally quiet. Its well off the beaten... read more track but for me was the ideal base for hill walking in the Galloway Forest and Scottish Borders being equidistant between the two areas. The nearby village is a few minutes drive where there are some small shops but its only twenty minutes or so drive from Dundee. Claire's directions were very helpful. I had an excellent stay and would like to says thanks to Claire for providing such pleasant accommodation.

      Really enjoyable short stay for Hogmanay in very comfortable,well equipped, wonderfully warm cottage in amazing surroundings, great views and perfect peace.
