      The cottage was well equipt, lovely location- Nice and peaceful. Great views and wildlife, we loved the rabbits and red kites. Great base for exploring the Dumfries & Galloway area.

      We had a lovely Christmas break tucked away in the hills and farmland above Thornhill and Penpont. Really nice touch to have a Christmas tree and a few decorations up... read more at the property. The views are beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The place had everything we needed. We would stay again.

      We had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage and surroundings were comfortable, peaceful and clean. We especially enjoyed seeing the Red Kites outside gliding across the sky.

      Croftjane Cottage is a very peaceful place, with a lot of room for our family of four. Well equipped and clean, it's situated in a wonderful landscape. We definitely recommend spending there more than a few days, also to discover the area, where there is so much to do and explore!
